Frank C. Pierce - Native American History Poster



Frank C. Pierce was the first Native American to compete for the United States in the Olympic Games. He was a track and field athlete and distance runner. Pierce was 1 of three Seneca long-distance runner brothers from the Cattaraugus Reservation in New York. At the St. Louis Olympic Games in 1904, Frank Pierce represented the Pastime AC and entered for the marathon.
